Boat tours, banana boats, jet-skis and other boats are available the whole year round for you to explore the wonders of this coast.  
 
The sea off Porto Seguro is also highly sought after by devotees of diving. All year long, there are excursions by boat to the famous Marine Park Recife de Fora, a large formation of coral reefs.  
The trip to Recife de Fora is by high-tech schooner and takes 4 hours, visiting the reef formations 6km from the beach. At low tide, the reefs form natural pools allowing fantastic diving among multicolored fish.

The EBK - Kitesurfing School of Bahia has a subsidiary in southern Bahia called the EBK Porto Seguro / Arraial d'Ajuda with the same quality and program of teaching.  
 
It was founded in October 2006 by Ruy, a disciple of the master Alessandro Bonaspetti.  
 
The Kitesurfing lessons are in Rio da Barra, next to Trancoso (Porto Seguro).
